Clinical Clerkships

What we do:

Oregon Pacific AHEC works to find temporary housing for students on rotation, contacts the students prior to their rotations to let them know about the area where they’ll be staying. Maps, directions and general orientation are provided. Once the student has arrived, Oregon Pacific AHEC remains in contact with the student and preceptor so that the best possible educational experience can be provided.

Purpose:

To provide community-based education to a variety of health profession students in predominately underserved areas. Students placed this year include, medical students, nurse practitioner and physician assistant students.
