Health Career Clubs

ClubMed Description

This exciting Health Careers Program meets twice a month with students at high schools in all AHEC regions in Oregon. In the Oregon Pacific AHEC region, the program provides students from Taft, Toledo, Siletz, Willamina, Grande Ronde, and Vernonia schools with interactive activities and information about health careers, college preparation, study skills, job shadowing and internships.

  • To provide leadership skills that will include future planning and goal setting
  • To involve college and healthcare students as volunteer group leaders, role models, and mentors
